Our Story
Hi, I’m Ben Greene, the founder of Greene Zoo Herps. My passion for reptiles started early—exploring the hills of California as a kid, on the lookout for every reptile I could find. That childhood curiosity grew into a lifelong fascination with these amazing animals.
Over the years, I became deeply involved in breeding a variety of lizards and snakes, developing a strong interest in their husbandry and care. Today, through Greene Zoo Herps, I’m proud to share that passion by offering healthy, well-cared-for animals and helping others discover the incredible world of reptiles.
Today, I still travel on herping expeditions across the USA, and am an active member of the Orianne Society, an impactful organization for reptile conservation. In order to give back to the hobby that has given me so much, a portion of my proceeds go to their conservation efforts through the Orianne society.
